New Moon 1° Pisces, Feb. 20th Like the January 21st new moon in Aquarius had ties to Pluto’s transition into Aquarius beginning March 23rd, this new moon at 01° Pisces conjunct Saturn at 28° Aquarius is helping us transition from Saturn in Aquarius (March 2020 til March 2023) to Saturn in Pisces beginning March 8th. With this new moon in inspired and idealistic Pisces in supportive aspect to the nodes of the moon - the points of past/release and destiny/increase - as they near the end of their time on the Taurus/Scorpio axis, we are supported in taking what we’ve learned with the past year’s Scorpio south node eclipses about our shadows, both personally and collectively, and using that new knowledge to move towards the north node point of destiny and increase in Taurus, the Venus-ruled earth sign of material abundance, security, creature comforts, and enjoying life through the five senses. The Saturn influence helps us “make the ideal real.” It reminds us we need to stay embodied with feet firmly planted on terra firma and do the work if we want to turn our dreams and desires into reality. Saturn entered Aquarius around equinox 2020, and coincided with the pandemic lockdown beginning, so Saturn leaving Aquarius and moving into Pisces for the next 2 ½ years is significant. As we arrive at this year's new beginning in the sign of Pisces, we feel Saturn’s presence, even though it is still in Aquarius. Although Saturn conjunct this new moon might feel like a buzz-kill, we can tap into Saturn’s integrity, responsibility, discipline, and desire to create things of value that are built to last. This is also like a final “taking stock” of our experience of Saturn in Aquarius since spring 2020. Have you stepped into your authority and taken responsibility where you needed to?
