Waning Gibbous Moon: 3/7 - 3/14 You might be feeling the big change vibe already, but keep in mind we are in the waning moon with sun in the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces, til 3.20/3/21. Don't rush it. Take this time to wind down with the moon over the next two weeks, because we have a monumental new beginning on deck over the last half of March. We aren't just moving into the first new moon of the astrological year on the 21st with the new moon at 0° Aries, with sun into Aries marking equinox a day before on the 20th, we are beginning an entirely new era. The new moon at 0° Aries on the 21st is our first of two new moons in Aries in a row this year. The 2nd one lands at 29° Aries, the anaretic or karmic degree and is the first eclipse of 2023, opening the spring eclipse portal. This is big, but that's not all that's going on! Saturn has just entered Pisces for the next 2 1/2 years on 3/7, and it is serving as a bridge for a much larger transition that's happening from now until around May 2026 as all three outer planets change signs. We are ending one era and beginning a new one, and it begins on 3/23 when Pluto lands in Aquarius. Pluto has been in Capricorn since 2008 and will be in Aquarius until 2044, so this indeed is a major energetic shift. Since it will retrograde back into Capricorn from June til January for a "clean up round" of its time there, we can count 2023 as a transition year, and Pluto in square to the nodes of fate and destiny, past and future, from early March til early December of this year only drives that point home. The energy running beneath the surface for the rest of this year is asking us to fully release the old so we can fully step into the new in a life-changing way. That means the stuff you don't feel like you can let go of. Pluto is about regeneration, the cycle of destruction and creation. It's the full transformation of energy from one form to another. For this process to take place, the old must be released/destroyed first in order for the new to be born. The waning and dark moon phases of every month now into December are especially important, because they are the built in times for turning inward, getting quiet, and creating the big safe space in ourselves necessary for release. Start honoring and harnessing the power of this practice right now, because it will hold you as you move through the big changes 2023 is bringing! The waning gibbous moon is the week from the full moon until the last quarter moon when we ease up and integrate what has been brought to light with the illumination of the full moon. This is when we "harvest," and it is the time for practicing appreciation and gratitude for what we have and sharing our abundance generously with others. #mooncycles #waninggibbous #waningmoon
