The Libra full moon is exact today, Wed. 4/5, at 22:34 MDT - that means 9:34pm on the west coast, and after midnight on the east coast. As I type this, we still have over twelve hours until this full moon climax, meaning it is building in intensity all day today. ***The in depth full moon email update goes out to subscribers today - if you aren't on the list, comment "LIST" below, and I will get you set up.*** This full moon is the climax of Aries season, and this year, just happens to be the midpoint between two Aries new moons in a row - the one in two weeks will be our first eclipse of 2023, landing at the 29th, or karmic, degree of Aries, so get ready for major new beginnings. Right now, the focus is on the illumination of this full moon as sun, light of consciousness, (along with Jupiter) in Aries fully lights up moon in Libra, the subconscious. The Aries-Libra axis of the zodiac is the relationship axis - the axis of self and other. Mars-ruled Aries is about the self, individualization, self-assertion, standing up for ourselves, and even boundaries, while Venus-ruled Libra is about relationship, tact, diplomacy, balance, harmony, and even equality and justice. The key here is to move to the middle of the axis, effectively creating a harmonious balance of the two energies in our lives - it's not all one or the other - we need BOTH energies in our lives. "I know where I begin & end." As within, so without. We cannot create healthy relationships (Libra) without first having a healthy relationship with ourselves (Aries). We must know who we are as individuals to come whole into a relationship, so that the union becomes more than the sum of its parts. Otherwise, we end up collapsing on the other in some way(s) when we arrive in the relationship. Whatever is going on energetically in our inner realms, we will create that in our outer realms and attract that into our lives. If we don't love ourselves, it's not that we will attract someone who doesn't love us, it's that we will attract someone who also doesn't love themselves, and if no one is generating love, then there is no love to give or receive, and the relationship becomes like a desert, full of want and lack. In the weeks leading to this Libra full moon, this climax of Aries season, we have had a flurry of activity in Aries since Chiron stationed direct there in January - activity that has been supporting us in facing any fear and pain we carry around abandonment and rejection so we can finally transcend that to embrace our right to exist and value as individuals, step into more authenticity, and shine brighter. As the Aries sun opposes the Libra moon, something we have not seen before gets illuminated, we arrive at some realization about this dynamic in our lives. It may even mean that it is time for some relationships to go if we have evolved and the vibration of the relationship no longer is a match. As Aries is our ability to stand up for ourselves, and Libra is justice, in the lead up to this full moon you may also have noticed old (real or perceived) injustices in relationships of all kinds coming back into your awareness lately - remember the astrology over the past weeks has been supporting us in overcoming core wounds to self like fear of rejection/abandonment that have kept us shining down or playing small, so it's quite natural for these things to be coming up for review now as we evolve. Whatever is coming to awareness, it's ultimately coming up for acknowledgement and love so it can transmute into new energy. The next two weeks of waning moon as we move into the 4/19 new moon eclipse will be the time for release before we mark a major new beginning at the eclipse portal. #librafullmoon #fullmoonaffirmation
